About Us

Welcome to Keep Your Grease!

We are Laura & Justin, and we love to cook!

We met back in 2016 because of a silly rescue horse named Angel. Justin is a farrier and blacksmith and came out to give Angel her first hoof trim. We instantly connected and went on our first date 2 months later! Ever since then, we've been completely inseparable.

​

In the years we've been together, we've had many adventures including several moves, quitting my "real job" to start my own business (Cotton State Photography), running a flea market booth, and making/selling mustache wax and beard beads on Etsy, and lots more!

​

There's never a dull moment in our house. We decided to start Keep Your Grease after being inspired by other creators who cook from home and share their recipes on YouTube.

​

We love to cook (and especially eat) meals from scratch whenever possible, and my passion for photography just made this website a no brainer! We also grow many of our own herbs and veggies throughout the year, and we're always looking for new ways to cook and enjoy them.

​

Some of our recipes may be GF with alternatives for those of y'all who don't have a gluten issue.

We're slowly working on building up our YouTube, Instagram, and this website with recipes so please check back with us frequently!
