Justin's Dry Rub

He's spent years tweaking and perfecting it - and here it is for y'all to enjoy!


This dry rub is perfect for a slab of ribs or our Smoked Chicken Wings.


INGREDIENTS:


  • 1 Tablespoon of Zatarain's Crab Boil OR Tony Chachere's Creole Seasoning

  • 1 Tablespoon Chili Powder

  • 1 Tablespoon Brown Sugar

  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper

  • 1 teaspoon Smoked Paprika (YES Smoked! Not regular!)

  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder

  • 1 teaspoon Cumin

  • 1 teaspoon Curry

  • 1/2 teaspoon Onion Powder

  • 1/4 teaspoon Old Bay

  • 1/8 teaspoon Ground Clove

  • 1/8 teaspoon Nutmeg

  • Salt to taste (doesn't take much! The crab boil seasoning is salty)













DIRECTIONS:


  1. Mix all ingredients together in a large ziploc bag.

  2. Coat meat evenly in seasoning.

  3. Cook as according to specific directions for whatever you're making.

  4. Enjoy!

This is our favorite dry rub and we won't buy any store brand because of it!

This recipe will be perfect for one rack of ribs or 10-12 large chicken wings.
